“They came in our room while we were sleeping”

“The ,toilet didn't work properly. There was hair on the shower walls from the last guest that I had to rinse away. The HVAC unit was abundantly noisy. Bed was comfortable but I got a terrible nights sleep. Soap bar was the size of a half dollar. You couldn't get any lather on my wash cloth. All in all, not what I expected.”

“The property was clean but very worn. TV didn’t work but they got it going(it was in plugged), phone did not work, 3 people were staying we only had 2 bath towels. Deck off the pool-broken spindles, loose boards and junk on it. Breakfast was bad, waffles poor taste, my grandson could not eat, 1 bottle of water in fridge, 2 hot dishes poor taste, my husband and I had a piece of toast with peanut which sufficed and we took our grandson to Casey’s and got breakfast. ”

“Buffett Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff were efficient and nice.”

“The hotel is nice enough. The room I had was nice, other than the ant colony by bathtub in the floor, and I did not have house keeping while I was there. Also, even thou I paid for breakfast with my reservation thru Expedia they apparently had no record and charged me anyways, even after I showed them my itinerary and stated they couldn't do anything about it till Monday.”

“Good location for everything we had to accomplish that day. Very clean.”

“This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.”

“Never stayed at this hotel never knew it existed had family visiting so I stayed too this hotel is very nice and clean”

“My room temperature was ok. Could not get it to a cooler temperature despite resetting it 2 different times throughout the night. I did not sleep well because I could not get cool. The breakfast left a little to be desired. There were biscuits but no gravy. All of the juices were watered down and the cream cheese for the bagels was chunky. So I had toast with peanut butter because the only jelly available was grape or apple.”

“Musty smell throughout. The have fans blowing in the hallway with air freshener behind them. Breakfast is not good. Biscuits and water gravy. Waffles tasted sour. They have cereal of course Room is musty and mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Towels always felt damp. Ac works well but it blows musty air . Shower head comes out of wall at shoulder blade height. Does get hot however. Beds are ok. TV is very small and very limited analog channels. Very fuzzy picture. ……

“Shower light didn't work, bathroom exhaust makes a lot of noise, one mattress the bed sunk in when sitting or laying on it, tv remote on/off button or volume buttons didn't work. Had to adjust volume or on/off on the tv itself, carpet by the bed was sticky so bare feet not recommended, ice machine on our floor did not work, hot tub was not functioning and was empty. When I booked it indicated there was a hot tub. Pool was available and water nice and warm, but unfortunately, the night we were……

“Room was fine until it rained and my window started not just leaking but water was pouring into the room. Staff moved me into a different room that had a similar problem as the first. Floor by the AC unit was damp the entire stay. No mention of any accommodation for getting moved into a “downgraded” room. Would only plan on staying here if the weather is going to be clear with no possibility of rain at all. Other than that, staff was nice and breakfast wasn’t bad.”
