“The ,toilet didn't work properly. There was hair on the shower walls from the last guest that I had to rinse away. The HVAC unit was abundantly noisy. Bed was comfortable but I got a terrible nights sleep. Soap bar was the size of a half dollar. You couldn't get any lather on my wash cloth. All in all, not what I expected.”

“We booked an accessible room at this hotel, since my husband is a paraplegic. The parking was ample, and it was easy to get to our room from the parking lot, which matters to my wheelchair-bound husband. Check-in was quick. The room was comfortably clean, with only some minor details that hadn't been touched in a while. The bathroom was spacious for a wheelchair, but most of the rest of the room was inaccessible to my husband due to spacing between the bed and the TV console. He was barely……

“We did not like that we didn't get new towels for the next day. We needed to go to Dollar General to buy us some.”

“We found a can of soda in the fridge when we first came in the room, which really shocked us. Due to the fully booked hotel, the service they gave were limited as well. But overall this was a pleasant stay.”

“The property was clean but very worn. TV didn’t work but they got it going(it was in plugged), phone did not work, 3 people were staying we only had 2 bath towels. Deck off the pool-broken spindles, loose boards and junk on it. Breakfast was bad, waffles poor taste, my grandson could not eat, 1 bottle of water in fridge, 2 hot dishes poor taste, my husband and I had a piece of toast with peanut which sufficed and we took our grandson to Casey’s and got breakfast. ”

“Shower light didn't work, bathroom exhaust makes a lot of noise, one mattress the bed sunk in when sitting or laying on it, tv remote on/off button or volume buttons didn't work. Had to adjust volume or on/off on the tv itself, carpet by the bed was sticky so bare feet not recommended, ice machine on our floor did not work, hot tub was not functioning and was empty. When I booked it indicated there was a hot tub. Pool was available and water nice and warm, but unfortunately, the night we were……

“This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.”

“The hotel is nice enough. The room I had was nice, other than the ant colony by bathtub in the floor, and I did not have house keeping while I was there. Also, even thou I paid for breakfast with my reservation thru Expedia they apparently had no record and charged me anyways, even after I showed them my itinerary and stated they couldn't do anything about it till Monday.”
