Clean & good food 👌

We loved the character of the property. It was literally the barn! Bed and shower was clean. However, the cobwebs and spiderwebs were everywhere!!! We had spiders crawling on us at night and in the bed. The windowsills and ceilings need a good cleaning. Set up was real cute and cozy. We literally did nothing! Just rested, relaxed and reconnected. It definitely did for us exactly what we were hoping for.

I arrived too late to find another place or i would’ve. I paid for 3 nights before seeing room. I found a room elsewhere for the next 2 nights. Hopefully the insurance claim will reimburse but wouldn’t have stayed another night. Roaches, crickets, spiders, holes in wall, refrigerator did not work but even if it had you would not want to use it. Rusty water. One ice machine in front building. Room was non smoking so everyone smoked outside. Our a/c pulled smoke odors right into the room. Cigarette burn in bedspread. I could go on and on.

Good location by the lake. Room was clean and the owner was responsive when we had questions about the area. No cable TV (that we saw), so be prepared to bring entertainment for those quiet nights. Also, hot water was limited. Aside from those couple of items, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are back in Texas.
