"I broke down on the way to Austin and this was my only option. The hotel was clean and seems like it was recently updated. There are no frills or amenities, but it was very affordable and I wasn’t afraid to take my shoes off or take a shower."

"We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful cozy home and loved it, very clean. Kitchen and every room was just beautiful. Family that came by to see us that live in the area were also very impressed. Very nice furniture.Home had an enclosed back yard and porch which was perfect for our family gatherings. ..."

"My stay was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy life. I had stressful family business in Dallas (not far away) that had to be done but all my burdens seemed to melt away when I returned to Mallard's Mist. It's easy to unwind when you pull in the drive and there is a beautiful heard of deer."

"We had a family of 11, ages 7 to 70, stay here for the weekend. We had a great time. Outdoor space was amazing for the perfect temperatures we had. We sat on the top deck a lot and enjoyed the views, fished, grilled, and played games. Only issue was the internet. Couldn't get it to connect which ..."
