"Loved this spot, the room was clean, I was in a room with doors opening to the shared balcony which was both great and too bad as that was the social area. A few guys were out there past quiet hours meaning there were right outside the window. Although during the day it was lovely to be connected to the balcony. They will do your laundry on proper for a very reasonable price and the parking was great, right outside the guest house. They’ve set the kitchen up wonderfully so that many people can use it at once. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it!"

"Incredible scenery. The property is lovely and in a spectacular landscape of ocean views and high altitude vineyards. We also stayed at Reid's Palace in Funchal, which is historic and lovely, but Quinta do Furao was our favorite. "

"Check in was spectacular, room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good Don't go to the Mediterranean Japanese restaurant for food (i didn't have the burger which was recommended by the front desk) but we ordered 5 things and they were gross and I'm not that picky. We liked the hotel so much we tried to book the next night but they were full. Happy trails"

"Beautiful property with plants everywhere. A place to relax and chill amongst butterflies and plants! Staff and kind and attentive. Management respond to any issues (our frying pan needed replacing and they did after I fed it back. Breakfast has a good variety. The restaurant is nothing massively remarkable but a great thing to have close by as there are not many other places to eat in the area within walking distance. "
