Staff is very nice and my stay was delightful at this location. Is like stepping back in time. The story of this place, combined with the art in each corner make it so enjoyable. My balcony faced the inner streets of this place and I did enjoy the family-friendly neighborhood and their activities. The kid's playing and the people whistling in the air...the atmosphere is one in a kind. The breakfast was delicious and I got afresh dessert from amazing staff. The view from the balcony to the see is mesmerizing. I'll love to be back.

I am not one to post negative comments, but this time, here it goes. First, the entrance of the hotel is horrendous dark, old and dirty is part of a building where other people live it seems. You have climb 4 (four) flights of stairs no elevator. They claim is a second floor - NOT TRUE. It 4 flights of stairs and when you get there, no help. A little sign that you have to go the reception at another hotel 1 block away. (So you go down 4 flights of stairs to climb them up again. Because they couldnt have a sign at the entrance of the building, right?) And then you get a room that have to climb one more flight of stairs for a 5th starcase but this one through half construction, full of dust and smells cement. In summary, just NO.

Autencitet midt i Maiori

Beliggenheden var fin, idet stedet var slidt. Personalet var dog altid meget venlige, morgenmaden ok, og der blev ikke sparet på hverken rene håndklæder eller sengelinned. Desuden var jeg så heldig at have balkon med udsigt til havet og eftermiddagssol. Alt i alt en fin oplevelse.

In un contesto bellissimo, personale preso come viene, colazione da paura con succhi di frutta alterati perchè lasciati lì probabilmente da giorni sotto il caldo e allo bere risultavano pizzicare in bocca. Più vokte avvisato sia Expedia che la struttura di essere disabile la casa situata in un secondo piano dove nemmeno un'ascensore riusciva a salire che comunque era mancante. Dopo lamentele sono stato spostato in un alverghetto vicino ad un primo piano con ascensore. Dimenticavo nei due giorni di soggiorno obbligato la colazione dovevo farla fuori perchè era impossibile mangiare quelle cose. Rapporto qualità prezzo: NON VALE I SOLDI PAGATI. Quella gente vogliono solo i soldi e comunque non sanno cosa sia l'accoglienza di un turista. NON TORNERÒ MAI PIÙ A MAIORI E LO SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE. Parlerò del resto in altra sede per i parcheggi dei disabili e i vari esercizi pubblici dove dico solo che un'anguria la fanno pagare 1 euro e 70 centesimi al kg.

Unique and very cosy for a good price!

A very cosy and familiar hotel in an oldfashioned style. Very good service and 24-hour reception for only 9 rooms. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could possible wish. We got upgraded to a 40 sqm trippel superior deluxe-room. There where paintings both on the ceiling and on the walls. Very good location both central and quiet. Can highly Recommend!

The service was good :Maria Grazia , the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very courteous . The hotel is in a central position ,close to the ferry boats to tour the Amalfi coast .

To call the place a hotel is an exaggeration, it is at best a B&B, and the second of the Bs is questionable. The rooms are acceptable, what they lack in modern comforts they make up for in character. All of our complaints revolve around the staff. Security was non-existent. They asked us to leave the room key with them, then left reception unattended with the keys on view, we were able to help ourselves to our key when returning. There was only ever a maximum of 1 member of staff on sight at any time, often they could be found relaxing in one of the unoccupied rooms. After day 2 I refused to leave the key with them. On Sunday I returned to find that after cleaning the room they had left it unlocked. The receptionist did not even think this was a problem. On Monday we needed to have breakfast at 7.30 (the advertised start-time) but there was no member of staff on sight until after 8.00am. When not absent the staff were lazy, apathetic and incompetent.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Maiori due notti. Siamo arrivati in bici dall'Abruzzo e abbiamo usato la struttura come base di partenza per visitare la Costiera in bici. Ci siamo trovati bene. La colazione era abbondante, le stenze ampie.

Sono stata molto contrariata per il fatto che sul sito non era indicato che il b&b si trova al secondo e terzo piano di un palazzo vetusto con gradini molto alti ,SENZA ASCENSORE, e che portare su i bagagli è stata una fatica non da poco. Una persona con qualche leggerissimo problema di mobilità non avrebbe potuto accedervi.

We loved staying at this charming hotel

The hotel was a little harder to find, but once we did the staff directed us on where to park the car. It was in a great location, close to the waterfront. The room we stayed in was wonderful, as was the whole hotel. The walls and ceiling were painted with frescos and it felt so much nicer than a standard hotel. Even though it had the feeling of an older mansion, it had all the amenities of a new hotel. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony. It was wonderful! We loved staying here and we would definitely recommend it.

Solo il ricordo di un antico splendore

L'hotel sarebbe carino se non fosse per lo stile un po' troppo decadente (es. gli affreschi sul soffitto sono rovinati e anneriti). La camera era abbastanza pulita ma il personale lascia un pò a desiderare. La colazione è pessima. La posizione dell'hotel invece è ottimale.

We love Maiori and the Casa Raffaele Conforti.

The hotel is two floors up but well worth the climb. Perfectly convenient to the main street in Maiori—Corso Reginna. Our room looks out on the Duomo—it's beautiful. We could watch the passegiataa every evening from our balcony. We love Maiori.
