“The location was awesome - walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shop. An hour from the cabot trail. Place was spotless, beds were extremely comfortable and everything you need was provided. Highly recommend.”

“Unit was very clean and bed was comfortable. There was no bulb in the bedside lamp. There was no soap in the bathroom. There was no shampoo available. For the price there should have at been a small shampoo, a roll of paper towels, and a couple of Keurig coffee pods to get us started off in the morning.”

“Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!”

“We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot.”

“This property is at the water's very edge, and the view looking along the harbor towards the Gulf is fantastic. We had a beautiful sunset view from our deck looking towards Cheticamp Island. The apartment is well furnished and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. Beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend and hope to get back here for another stay.”

“We checked in at 4:00pm and found that there was no electricity. We called the owner and was told that there was an power outage starting at 6:00am and that the power would not be restored until 8:00pm. We were hungry but couldn't find any place open for dinner. It was getting cold. So we had to drive for 2 hours to a town to have dinner and stay over night. Since the owner knew of the power outage early in the morning, the owner should have been more considerate and contacted us earlier. ……
