Aussitôt rentrer dans la Riad , la fraîcheur et le calme reigne, un contraste impressionnant de la rue à quelques pas seulement. Les installations sont propre mais rustique, dont les portes, fenêtre, spa et matelas, ce qui aide à rendre le charme et l’authenticité de la Riad. Les repas sont excellent, typiquement marocain bien sûr. Le personnel est charmant, souriant et attentionné. Simple, clean. We loved the old doors and wrought iron fixtures. The place could use some updating. The bathroom smelled a bit off from the plumbing. The hot tub on the roof was cold. Our room could use some paint, shower tiles need to be redone. Nothing major but needs some sprucing up. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and it definitely gave offered fhe authentic feel we were looking for. The staff were lovely to deal with, very friendly and accommodating. The place is a bit tricky to find but that’s part of the adventure. Full of charm and personality. The owner and his staff practically bent over backwards to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. I found the room to be clean and a great size for me, my wife and son. Due to the time of year we visited, the room was particularly cold at night. The air conditioning unit didn't help much but the Riad was kind enough to lend us their portable heater which helped to take the edge off a bit. The water in the shower was also a bit temperamental and I ended up with a luke warm or colder than I'd like shower on one or two occassions. Really not a deal breaker though. The location was a very straightforward walk to the centre, it took about 30 - 35 minutes and was safe and pleasant so long as you watch out for motorbikes. The Riad is really cozy with a beautiful courtyard and a rooftop with sunbeds. The room is gorgeous and the beds very comfy. We also had heating on the room making it a great place to stay even during winter when it can get cold outside. The breakfast was great too and really served with much love. The only negative I have is that the location is not that great. It’s around 15min walk to the closest restaurants and about 30min to the Medina. We didn’t find it to be a problem though and walked everywhere. It’s a very quiet street but didn’t feel unsafe. The hot tube on the roof could be a bit warmer and needs some fixing, some of the tiles are quite sharp.
