Riad Karmela was an outstanding hotel. Welcoming, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful and supportive with everything we need. An absolute gem of a place.

Our stay at Riad Petite Karmela was lovely, perfectly situated within walking distance of all must see places, we did need transport to the Jardin Majoelle which is outside of the medina, the staff arraged that for us. The staff were wonderful, helpful and kind; the whole atmosphere was calm with a warm welcome, my daughter and I felt we were special and I think all guests could feel like that. The room was good, shower good, great hairdryer! the passage to the Riad entrance was lit and you were guided in and out to transport, if needed. The Riad staff made our stay so warm and memorable, courtyards to relax in, complimentary mint tea/water, ready smiles! I'd recommend arranging collection from the airport with them. Relax in Karmela Petite Riad and enjouy all that Marakech has to offer, it's unforgettable! Hilary Giles

Magnifique

Le Riad est un lieu superbe, magique, authentique. Quand on arrive on est de suite immergé, on fait Wouah ! Il est situé dans la Médina, tout près de la place des Épices en plein cœur du Souk. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins, Nous avons fait des excursions proposées par l'hôtel, notre chauffeur (Simo) attentionné et disponible Merci pour ce séjour magique dans ce pays aux paysages incroyables et à cette chaleur humaine, qui fait du bien !

week end entre copines à Marrakech

encore un séjour formidable entre les murs de ce superbe riad !!! l'accueil commence avec le chauffeur, Simo, venu nous récupérer à l'aéroport,super gentil et agréable, comme d'habitude . Nous avons été accueillies au riad par Bouchra, super elle aussi, comme toujours. Mes amies ne connaissant pas l'endroit ont pu visiter et sont tombées sous le charme. Les repas aussi bien au riad karmela qu'au riad karmela princess sont excellents !!! les serveurs très attentionnés comme tous les membres du personnel. C'est un endroit que je recommande vivement pour l'accueil, la discrétion, la gentillesse du personnel et la beauté du lieu bien sur . Il me tarde déjà d'y retourner !! merci encore !!!

Friendly staff and nice Riad.

It is a nice Riad and you can see that the owner is spending time on decoration and design. It might be a little difficult to find for the first time since it is inside the Merdia, around 10~15 mins walking to Jemaa el-Fnaa, but it is ok since all the shops are open during the night and many restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When i checked in, she provides a map and tell me what can i see and how much does it cost. Also i have to check out earlier then their breakfast time, they offer me something small to have, i am so surprised for this. Also, we have breakfast in the terrace, very nice view.

The food they serve is lovely. The roof terrace has an amazing view, the people who work there are very kind and great hospitality. We had a wonderfull stay at riad Karmela and Zineb (pool).

Super Riad. Le personnel est charmant et très attentionné, un merci particulier à Mohamed simon, aux 2 Amine, à Mustapha, à Jamila , à Doha et à tous les autres de la cuisine, du ménage... Sehr netter und persönlicher Empfang mit Tee und Keksen. Super freundliches Personal, Hammam und Massage 1a Klasse, Zimmer grosszügig und gut ausgestattet, Frühstück grosszügig und abwechslungsreich. Herrliche Terrasse. Zuverlässig, pünktlich, absprachefähig. Das einzige: Die Duschbrause ist unvorteilhaft montiert, man kann nicht darunter stehen. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

We were upgraded to a better room in the adjoining Riad Zenab which was beautiful. A small pool outside the room. Service was excellent. The two Nourias were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but was only served in the Zenab fit the last two nights. The first two we had to go over to the main Katmela.

Nice petit Riad

Riad Petite Karmala if a very nice place to stay at. Well located in the old Medina. Rooms are nice as well as the staff. Khalid works in the food area is a great helpful guy. I lost my cel in Casablanca, but was found by someone. Khalid helped me to contact the hotel where my phone was left which I would have had a hard time to do by myself. They have professional staff that are all helpful and willing to help in many areas. My only complain is that the room was noisy at night with lots of knocking like a hammer, which made sleeping very difficult. I am not sure of the source of the noise, but when I shouted and knocked on my bed head the noise was reduced. The air condition also made strange noises. Overall it was one of the most professional places I had stayed at in Morocco. The food is great and priced well. Breakfast was rich and has a variety of choices. The staff was very accommodating.

Worst Nightmare

The Hotel is located in a dangerous neighborhood, staff informed the guests not to go out at night. The shower drain was loose and a rat was staring at me. There was no tv in the room and when I asked the front desk, She was quite nasty, during the breakfast buffet staff was watching us constantly to check how much food we were taking , this was very uncomfortable situation that I never experience in any hotel. When we checked in they DID NOT GIVE US A KEY, we could not even lock the room at night and We secured the door with some furniture before We went to sleep, I would not even rate this Hotel with one star. When We were checking out, the owner stated that F/D should not given this room bcos it was under renovation which explained everything. They are in discriminating behavior because We were 3 women from Morocco not a European or American seemed like were more welcome in this Hotel. Watch yourself and DON'T EVEN THINK TO BOOK.

Siamo stati qui solo una notte poi per esigenze loro ci hanno trasferito al riad karmela (più caro ma senza chiederci alcuna integrazione)che si trova accanto gestito sempre da loro.Petit Karmela è tenuto discretamente la stanza nostra aveva il letto molto piccolo ,copriletto credo non lo lavassero da un pò, bagno pulito ma che necessita una bella ristrutturazione.

Bra service!

Riaden låg i ett angränsande hus och var lite svår att hitta till, men när vi väl var på plats var allting utmärkt. Bra frukost, bra rum och utomordentlig service. Vi fick hjälp med att skriva ut en flygbiljett och frukost klockan 4 på morgonen när vi behövde ta ett tidigt morgonflyg.
