"Fantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitality….. Easy walk into the village too, where there’s shops and a couple of very good pubs too. We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longer…. Hell Yeah!"

"Bar service very good. Had what i wanted in stock. The room i had was newly decorated to a very high standard so much so i will be requesting that one again. The morning staff as friendly as the evening staff which makes a real difference as i was treated like a person and not a number. "
