"I liked this little gem in Central Texas. I had seen it before when looking for a halfway point between Houston and Lubbock and came back to it over Thanksgiving break when I needed a place to stay to break up the trip. We had two small kids and dog and this was a great accommodation. We came in at night so we didn't really know what we were looking at and we could tell it was a nice place but it was just different at night. In the morning when I woke up and stepped out onto the porch of my cabin I thought wow this is really cool. My husba nd wished he could have played golf, he even had his golf clubs but we just didn't ha ve time. He thought it would be a great place for a weekend golf getaway with the guys, or the girls. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this location while visiting family for the holidays! The property was very clean and organized, with many fantastic amenities, including sound machines in bedrooms, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton balls and swabs, floss picks, hairdryer with a diffuser fitting, very soft and absorbent towels, luggage racks, laundry detergent pods, dish soap, a fully stocked kitchen, and more! The home has been kept very well and the neighborhood seems safe and quiet. The hosts were quick to respond to any messages we sent and have done a very good job making a cozy place to stay when traveling to Brownwood. The beds were a little hard for our preferences and we would have appreciated a Brita water pitcher or something similar as the refrigerator is not hooked up to a water line, but neither of these things would keep us from happily booking again! We traveled with 4 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs and we had PLENTY of space to spread out! You really can’t go wrong staying at this house. "
