There are a few restaurants in the area. There was also a sign by the door to make sure it was locked at night and not to open it to anyone. The pool was closed during my stay and apparently it has been closed for a while. It’s a budget friendly location so you get what you pay for.

Casa Duro is a gem. This is truly a special place to stay with thoughtful decor and much more space than a typical hotel room. It's in a fabulous neighborhood, parking is easy, and there are a lot of places to explore within walking distance. The next time I travel to Dallas, I'll be rebooking at Casa Duro.

very clean, spacious and nicely decorated room! Staff couldn't have been friendlier, and more accommodating. McKinney is a lovely town too.

Beautiful view overlooking the Turner Falls Hillside. Very clean, although some of the furniture had crumbs underneath the cushions from previous visitors. Clear expectations and rules posted by the owner. TV, Fridge, stove, and A/C-Heater System work well. Outdoor patio and grill area was fantastic! Ron is currently remodeling some of the cabins to be even better than currently! So come back and check them out when they are done!

When our room was cleaned they did not wipe off crumbs on table where we ate. I noticed down in the lounge they did the same thing. It was 30 minuted befor a waitress in lounge came and cleaned the lounge tabke we sat at with empty bottles and drinks sitting for around 45 minutes. The last issue is the coffee. Wish you had a better coffee. Both the coffee at the bar and the espresso from the restaurant were burnt.
