"Loved the hotel. Had a good view of the Mississippi. Loved the bar and restaurant. Was able to take drinks from bar to our room. I think you could order food and all to the room too, but didn't try that. Also was able to charge food and drinks to the room if you chose to. It was a one-stop hotel. Also had a patio with river view. Everything on the town seemed to be within decent walking range. Would have loved to stayed a little longer to check more stuff out - like the walking trail by the river. Looking forward to a return trip soon. The town seemed to be a quaint quiet town."

"What a nice place to stay. It was a clean and cozy place to stay and so nicely decorated. It had all the amenities we needed. Wasn't quite sure how to work the Keurig but soon figured it out. It was in a quiet campground. We could hear traffic from nearby road but nothing that would keep us from staying here again. Bedroom was a little tight getting around in but still not enough to keep us from coming back. It had a nice patio where we hung out most of the time we were there. We definitely will come back. Cute and comfortable gem!"

"The owner is very demanding and will yell at you from the porch until you come over and scratch him behind the ears. Oh and the bed was pretty comfy."

"The view was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and the driving was good. Nice small town atmosphere."

"Nice place with nice views. Comfy bed. Everything works. The trains going by and blasting their horns makes for an early morning. A bizarre thing we discovered when we got here is that all the restaurants in the area are cash only. No credit cards. Even many restaurants across the river in Prairie du Chein had a cash only notice posted on their doors."
