The position is very good. Next to a mall, next to Milan, and next to Monza, where we spent the week for the F1 Grand Prix. The people were very nice and friendly. Everything was according to our expectations. Thank you!!!

Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we had some minor issues. We expected more from a four-star hotel, perhaps because we’re not familiar with Italian hotel practices. For example, they only provided body wash, so we had to buy our own shampoo. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep if you prefer a chilly room. Still water is only available on the ground floor. While they made our beds every day, they didn’t change the bed linens, which wasn’t a problem for us since we usually take a bath before bed. However, if you prefer daily bed linens, this might be an issue.

The breakfast was good, lots of options to chose from depending on your personal preference. Location is convenient for not only accessing menaggio, but also the other many towns along the lake. The ferry makes for easy access across the lake. The Piazza is a roughly 20 minute walk from hotel. Its uphill the whole way back but not too bad. You can also drive down, but parking can be tricky if not there early enough. The room was ok, but was a bit tired, worn and in need of renovation. The balcony with partial view of the lake was nice, especially in the morning for sunrise. The room offers little sound muffeling and you could hear the toilets flushing, people opening and closing doors or coughing. The staff were friendly, kind and doing their best to acomodate. Though it felt like they were understaffed and trying to manage a lot. The pool is nice.

Great stay at the Eurostar hotel. It’s a 20 min walk from Piazzale Rome, can be a bit challenging if carrying heavy bags. The place was clean, staff were nice. The only thing was that the hotel staff asked us not to use the elevator because someone got stuck in it the other day. So we had to carry our bags to the second storey when checking in and out.
