"The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up...

"We loved our stay at the Cabin in the Redwoods! It was quiet and remote, yet only a short drive to enjoy Mendocino. While the rain kept us from enjoying the deck, we still enjoyed the view of the meadow. We appreciated the extra space heater to keep the kids’ bedroom warm. We did a little light cooking and had all the pots and pans needed. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Property is well used but nicely maintained. Location was perfect for us; close to all beaches and parks, towns but far enough that we didn't have the hustle of tourists and traffic. I would stay again in a heartbeat. There's so much beauty and nature left to visit."

"That cabin was awesome! It was quiet and relaxed. The cabin had everything we needed and more, including WiFi! The outdoor show was nice and a great way to wake up in the morning. Would definitely stay here again. We loved everything about this cabin"

"Overall a great stay. Small kitchen, but that wasn't a concern for us. We used and enjoyed the hot tub. For some parties it may be an issue that you have to talk through one bedroom to get to the other."

"Very comfortable cabin just outside town of Elk. Great wood burning stove, ocean view, close to great restaurants and really close to many hiking trails and beaches."

"Wonderfully located and thoughtfully appointed - this property was the perfect spot to enjoy Mendocino! This is the perfect place to stay with extended family as there are 2 properties but also plenty of space to socialized together. We really appreciated the stylish decor, thoughtful welcome gift and well appointed kitchen, bathrooms and laundry (best tea and coffee selection we have ever had at a holiday rental!!!) Thank you!"

"This is a new place… in the property where Blackberry Inn was located. It is 2 minutes from town and this location can’t be beat. The grounds are great, and once this place is finished, I would say it would be the best place to stay. We are ‘old’ groupies from the heritage house days, but it has changed and not for the better. Mendo Bungalows will be the ‘ place to be’. "
