The room was very nice. The beds are very comfortable. They were clean. They were able to accommodate us to have connecting rooms last minute. I would say the only negative thing is you hearing belligerent people yelling at 11:30 at night. That only happened our last night there. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant.

My wife and I have stayed at this Fiesta Americana several times over the years as this hotel is our first choice when staying in Merida. Beyond the beautiful interior design of the building, the hotel staff is what makes our stays so much more pleasurable. Everyone smiles and extends a warm welcome. We stay in a Club level room as we enjoy the evening tapas and morning breakfast, which offer a wide variety of great foods from main dishes to desserts every day. The rooms are very clean and stately and the bed is by far the best bed in any hotel we have stayed. Even softer and more comfortable than ours at home. We have had the pleasure of having Roger help us during our stays, usually in the morning for breakfast service. He always greets us with a big smile and works above and beyond to be sure we, and everyone, has everything they need during breakfast. Roger is a tremendous asset to the Fiesta Americana team! We look forward to our upcoming stay at the end of March.

I've stayed at the Fiesta Americana multiple times. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and many are bilingual, which is helpful. The location is great. I would recommend the Fiesta Americana to anyone visiting Merida.

FA is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, good location, good AC in the room. The lobby area was a bit warm. Looked like AC was not too strong.

Hotel is looking tired and so are the rooms. Upgraded to a master suite and while it was quite spacious the room looked quite old and tired. The main bathroom was a tiny inspite of it being a suite. Not worth the price at all. Nespresso coffee refills came with a charge as did extra water. Service was ok and rooms were kept clean. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to most of the restaurants on Paseo Montejo. I would not be coming back here.

Overall, hotel was nice. A little far from Parque Central & souvenir store shops. About a 20 min walk or a cheap uber( $5 or less). Parking garage in the basement. You get a new parling ticket everytime u leave and it needs to be stamped by the front desk. Great delicious breakfast (separate cost).

It is a beautiful building. Our room had a French balcony. Looks like the hotel is very old so rooms are dated and corridors very stark with no art. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. We had a club room so had access to the lounge. Food was plenty but not particularly good. Lots of desserts. There was a coffee maker in the room but we were charged for the coffee capsules we used. This was a surprise for a five star hotel.
