OCEAN DRIVE BEACH PAD

The Barbizon has long been one of the best Hotel Alternatives in South Beach and is perfectly located between 5th and 6th Street, right on Ocean Drive.

Spacious and one of the largest Studio Floor Plans in the building.

One of the QUIETEST apartments on Ocean Drive.

Out the front door are the many restaurants, bars and people watching that makes South Beach one of the most desirable places to visit in the World. And just across the street is South Beach itself.

The Building itself is very well maintained, clean and secure. Coin operated Washer and Dryer are available on each floor; and a Receptionist is available during the day Monday through Friday.

The Studio is on the second floor at the back of the building. It is quiet and bright, with a view to the West, blue skies and a few small shops on 6th Street. And with its location toward the corner of 6th Street, it is also private, so guests can leave the Curtains open and not have to be concerned with neighbors looking in to the Unit.

The Studio includes free WiFi, Cable TV, Cd/iPod/Radio, and all the small things that make a trip from home more comfortable-Iron/Ironing Board, Hair a Full Kitchen with all the basic Appliances-Refrigerator, Oven/Stove, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Dishes, Cups, Utensils, etc.

There is 1 Queen Bed, 1 Sofa Bed and a Single Cot is available.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It has everything you need and we appreciated that it was also quiet in the midst of Ocean drive. The queen size bed is on the soft side (memory foam) and the sofa bed is very firm, but we made it work.There was an electrical issue during our stay that was taken care of the next day. Lee is very responsive to anything that is needed and easy to communicate with.

Great location!

The place was great, I'd definitely go back and also recommend it to friends. There was a stale cigarette smell coming from somewhere (the building's A.C.?), but after a couple of minutes it's unnoticeable. We also bought a lemon scented candle at the nearby CVS. Nearby Puerto Sagua restaurant is a good place for breakfast and other times you don’t want to spend a lot on food.

Well lets start with the stove top that would not turn off , so we used the breaker, the toaster oven would not heat control, 1 see thru towel per person for the whole week, are you for real! bldg manager said for me to use the back stairs to take garbage out, so filthy, so filthy so filthy someone clean the stairs otherwise the location was great

Fun Girl Trip

The property was very nice. Lee was very good to communicate with us. When we first arrived to the loud music at the bar/restaurant in front of the building we were a little nervous but we did not hear the noise in the apartment at all. The location is by far the best part about this apartment. Right across the street from the beach, close to a liquor store, grocery store, CVS and Walgreens not to mention a large variety of restaurants and night time entertainment. 2 blocks from the free trolley or bus routes. The apartment had beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels and an umbrella. Such a bonus!!! The only thing that I would say could use improvement is the access to the building was sometimes hard to get into, and the hallways are so dark that it made it hard to get into the room at night. Easier access would be great. The halls were noisy when people would come and go. Some of this may be due to the oldness of the building. With that being said, that is part of the appeal of the building and why we chose it. The sofa bed was a little hard but that seems typical of sofa beds. Overall I give this property and Lee a 5 star rating and I would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Alejandro was more than attentive and even allowed us to stored the luggage for some time after official checkout. Met us at the unit and made the process super easy. Very good property and centrally located right on Ocean Drive. The beach and the boardwalk across from the building. Highly recommended.

It was so close to the beach! Easy to get in & out. Had extra beach gear on hand! Truly wonderful. We made life long memories staying here :) We had everything we needed except for an extra blanket, that for some reason wasn’t given to us upon request which I thought was weird hospitality. The pull out couch bed is a single person/not comfortable for 2.

This location is in walking distance of everything in South Beach and if it's too hot out, you can Uber anywhere. Nice apartment, has a fridge, microwave, and other amenities to be comfortable.

The property was exactly like the photos! Great location, great price. The only thing was we had sort of a bug problem, but it wasn't enough to dissuade us from staying there again. Lee was amazing too and very easy to deal with. It's a no frill place that was PERFECT for us and we would definitely stay here again!!!

I expected a smooth check in which were horrible. We waited more than an hour to check in with back-and-4th texts to the renter. The building wasn’t the cleanest room is much smaller than expected windows barely open. Front door is locked at night and couldn’t get back in.

The unit is very cute! All the basics you’ll need for a vacation in South Beach. The beach chairs and umbrella was a nice extra bonus. The location is fantastic with just a couple min walk to the beach. Lee is very responsive and answered any questions I had and made it very easy to check in and check out. The building is super quiet so when you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle you have a nice place to rest up for the next day, this place is great!
