Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Its a good stay for a quick non expensive single person trip to Miami its an efficiency comfortable bed. Chickens walk around they do crow in the morning but its not too loud wasn’t bad for me area is gentrified part of the hood so its not the stereotypical high violent
Be ready for the roosters at 5 AM. And the Mary Jane smell. No blinds to keep the sunlight out. Also the bed is… well… it’s a bed… sort of. Not much else to say about that.

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
We noticed that the AC above the bed started dripping after it had been on for a while. It leaked onto the bed, leaving spots on both the bedding and the window ledge. The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close unless it was forced shut. One of the windows also opened on its own and wouldn’t close properly. The listing photos showed blinds on both windows, but only one window actually had blinds.Overall, the place was nice inside and served its purpose. I just wish we had been informed about some of these issues before arriving. We were also told multiple times that the area isn’t very safe and to be careful. If you’re a young woman traveling alone or feel particularly vulnerable, I personally wouldn’t recommend staying here. The bathroom was very nice, clean, and comfortable. When we tried reaching out to the host, it was late at night. They read my message but never responded. I’m assuming it was because it was late and they may have forgotten to reply. If you plan on taking Ubers everywhere, be prepared to spend quite a bit on transportation. It cost us around 20 each trip to get to the beach, downtown, and other nearby shops.I’m not 100% sure whether the place is pet-friendly since we didn’t bring a pet and didn’t see or hear any during our stay. The only “pet” we heard was a rooster.
