The property is wonderful and well worth a visit. The rooms on the other hand are a crap shoot! I booked 2 Deluxe king bed rooms, one was about 12 feet by 32 feet with 2 closets, a couch, coffee table, access to a shared balcony, and a decent bathroom. The other room was 11 feet by 12 feet with barely any room between the bed and the walls on all sides - the bathroom was extremely small (literally no room for 2 people to set foot in the bathroom unless one stood in the shower. When I questioned the front desk I was informed that both rooms "are the same size" and that they are the same category of room so the price is the same - "some people just 'luck-out' with the access to the balcony and that is the only difference (guess I was wrong even with photos to prove it but it was helpful of the staff to explain that they were 'exactly the same'!). They gave me breakfast vouchers for for our group to make up for it but I have to say that a pretty poor breakfast for 4 that I would say was worth around $35-40 at any IHOP that came out with one plate of French toast being burnt, a plate of huevos rancheros that needed to be remade, and a basic breakfast that was described as bland and barely edible a poor excuse to make up for getting a tiny room that had no room for two people to move around in at an unreasonably high price for what it was. If I had gotten 2 rooms that were like the first I would have been ecstatic, but I was left aggravated and feeling ripped off!

Temperatures dropped that night and it was cold. The heater did not warm the room. Due to recent rains there were bugs. Roomkeeping left a dried, half-shell of an avacado behind front door. We slept okay.
