Room was clean but damp all my clothes were damp and no hot water and power kept going off. staff was great bar was ok balcony view was not good. They called to take us to breakfast the first morning then said they was taking us on a hour tour of the property, after breakfast which was a 5 hour sales pitch to by a timeshare. No I didn’t buy it and they never offered to take us to breakfast or anywhere else again Took a tour through the mountains downtown was great. Would go back to the DR but never there again. Property was beautiful just that room was terrible clean but terrible.

The check-in process was a bit tedious, but that was due to Expedia, not the hotel. To keep a positive experience, the hotel staff was very kind and upgraded us to a beautiful room. We were a family of four, including a 7-year-old child, and each of us had our own bed and private bathroom, which was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the waiters, and especially the bar staff. The entertainment was excellent; the girl who organized the karaoke had great charisma and energy. The weather was on our side, with sunny days throughout our stay. The food at the Blue Lagoon restaurant was delicious . we absolutely loved it. The entire resort staff is humble, respectful, and very kind. Recommendations: • I didn’t really like the “guagua” shuttle; I think a large golf cart would look better and feel more comfortable. • At the bars, drinks were often served in plastic cups, which takes away from the presentation. However, at the beach they used nicer cups, and we were able to take great photos there.

Room itself was very nice but in order to take a hot shower you needed to let it run for a minimum of a half an hour, no exaggeration, and then the drain doesn’t work properly so you have water all over the floor outside of the shower. The TV went out from today to Monday due to a storm it continued to rain over the weekend, which the resort cannot help, but you had nothing to do but sit and watch static. The only thing that saved the trip is the staff quite honestly they are all so welcoming, nice, courteous and just good people overall. The resort doesn’t keep up on things and the place has gone downhill since our first visit in 2017, Confresi looks like a hurricane just washed up on the beach with pipes showing through the sand bottom of steps eroded away it is horrible what this resort is turning into. The place is more concerned about getting you to buy into the scam of a vacation club rather than up keeping what they have already.
