"I absolutely loved this property. It was centrally located easy to get to everywhere in Madrid from this hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The stuff is amazing and the food. "The Mel Madrid is a lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nothing I asked for was too much trouble. My only regrets that I didn’t get a chance to try the lovely swimming pool as it seemed a little difficult to book to use it. The hotel seems to have been surrounded by scaffolding and work for quite some time. It needs to be finished. I don’t know whether it is construction or renovation. "We choose this property because it was close to the dorm where our son is studying. Room was nice, bed comfortable and staff at hotel were helpful and kind. Near train stop and if you are a walker, easy to get to more Madrid sites. "
