"If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, nature filled get away, this is a perfect choice. The front porch provides a beautiful view of the river side of Lake Rathbun. The sky is full of birds, pelicans, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets...along with hummingbirds that fly right up on the porch with you. It's a simple charming atmosphere, peaceful, relaxing and just minutes away from the boat ramp. A hidden gem, highly recommend."

"The cabin was spotless and very well stocked with everything promised on the website. The location offers spectacular views of a pond and a nice trail for walking. The cabin was nice and warm for our February stay and it was peacefully quiet and so relaxing. The only thing that was sightly disappointing is how fast the hot water runs out. Plan on less than a ten minute shower or turn it off and on during the whole shower process. We will definitely be staying again."

"There are several rental cabins available in varying sizes. This is close to the state park, a local bar/restaurant, and easy access to the lake. The cabins are clean and easy to rent. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay at Lake Rathbun to book one of these cabins."

"Myself and two of my buddies did a fishing trip to the lake. The cabin was a short trip to the boat launch. The cabin was very clean and everything was well organized. The amenities that were supplied were sufficient. The staff had great communication with us when we needed it and addressed all of our questions. The only thing that I would say is that the Wi-Fi was a little quirky. For us it did not matter cuz we were not there to mess around on that Wi-Fi very much. I would recommend these...

"We stayed at foxtail cabins for an extended weekend to celebrate a birthday. On short notice i saw there was a bigger cabin available and they upgraded me no problem. Everything was clean and there were all the modern amenities such as a fully functioning kitchen with a dishwasher. We were so impressed a friend snagged the cabin for the following year before we even left the driveway. Only minor gripe is it was hard to find in the dark due to the lights by driveway entrance not working."

"Clean and big enough for a pleasant stay. The kitchen and bathroom was well supplied with amenities. Propane grill and fire pit were nice additions."

"This little cabin has a great location with hiking trails and a Resort nearby. It was cold when we stayed so we hiked one trail to the lake and spent one afternoon at the Resort water park. It was plenty big for 2 adults and 1 teen. The pull-out sofa was simple to work. We did bring a couple pans for our meals only because we prefer cast iron. There was plenty of Ameneties for hte weekend. Messaged manager about bedroom light not working ... no response so that is why I give it a 4 and not 5."
