"I loved the hotel, my room was clean, modern and even had a kitchen area.
The owners were very responsive when I contacted them with a question about my stay and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
I had a great stay and would stay again"
"The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too. "
"We would stay again, food excellent, bed comfortable with a great fan.
The pub could do with a tidy, bin bags near the bar and one of the tables being used an office isnt a great look.
The room was functional, slightly tired.

"The building was under renovation with workmen and building material name around a large section (excluding the bedrooms ). The building is old and in a state of disrepair. The bedrooms have been partially renovated but there is much to be done and there is a need for a deep clean and a repair and repaint of the rooms. But ..,., cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. "

"Stayed here in a standard double room ,room was a good size beautifully furnished in a country inn style , excellent shower and comfortable bed, nice soft linen. Only issue pillows were very hard.
Tea , coffee and biccies of good quality, even a teapot! Bar area was warm and comfortable didn't have and evening meal but breakfast options were substantial and reasonably priced. Staff were all extremely pleasant and polite creating a welcoming atmosphere. Free and plentiful car parking for hotel guests at the back. Only 2 mins walk to the restaurants, bars &shops so great for our evening out. 5min to station if needed. Will definitely stay here again when next in Gerrards X"
"The room was exactly what I needed and check in and check out was super easy. My only complaint is it was a bit inconvenient to get there from the bus stop."
