Great location

Service was fantastic and room/bed was comfortable. We stayed for couple of nights and location is great for all major attractions. There is no lift if you are carrying large luggage you will have to lug it up two flights of stairs. Our host graciously carried ours for which we are grateful for :)

location was central, outside appearance and main floor entry were not clean and dark. Stairs going up were cracked and not clean. We were aware that there was no lift, but underestimated that the 2 story building was not easy to go up with luggage. The front desk staff were pleasant. There was a terrible odor in the room, it smelled like backed up sewage the entire time we were there. It was hard to sleep on the twin bed, the mattress was slanted and felt like rolling out of bed.

It is a normal living area in Naples, next to two big churches and shopping streets. It appears the small hotel has been recently renovated as everything looks in a very good/new condition. Strongly recommend for those who want a real taste of Naples, Italy.

Great stay at Santa Chiara Inn

Stayed here for 4 nights and had a good time. Nice area with many resturants nearby. close to metro that takes you to Napoli centrale where you can reach many places. It is also close to harbours where you can reach islands in the area. The room was very nice, clean and as pictures shown. Really great bathroom with a large shower. Yes there are some stairs to climb but this was not a problem. we knew about it prior to ordering the room.

The hotel room was comfortable and the host was very helpful. There are 3 flights of stairs and there is no lift so be prepared to carry your suitcases. The manager will help you if he is available.

A great place to stay very convenient to all the main shopping areas and attractions in walking distances and the staff are wonderful. The rooms are cleaned daily. The only criticism would be that there is no lift , walking the 4 flight of stairs your legs do get a great workout. I would not recommend for the elderly however overall we had a wonderful stay.
