"We were so taken care of. We ended up coming back again and I am just so happy we found the spot super clean very unique my teenager and my six and nine year-old had a blast. The games are so much fun. The beds are comfortable and we will definitely be coming back again. Good night have asked for a better place to stay. I recently stayed one night at the Carnegie House and was absolutely blown away. I had never heard of it before, but it turned out to be an incredible find. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome — warm, attentive, and professional.
The bar and restaurant were top-notch, offering a cozy yet refined atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. What really stood out, though, was the room. The renovation and design were flawless — every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a space that was both elegant and comfortable.
Even though it was just a short stay, it left a lasting impression. I’ll definitely be back — and recommending it to anyone heading to State College!"

"Generally, it was great. The grades were a bit steep for some of us "old timers" (walking our dogs, etc.), but hey... it's in the mountains... right??? Very pretty. We did have an incident with our A/C and water, due to a lighning strike, but Eric and Mike were quick to respond, and went out of their way to solve the problem quickly (and at no small expense). A great family reunion, and we made many memories."

"Our stay at Penn State was perfect!! Exactly what we needed while our son was at a hockey camp at Pegula Ice Rink. The townhouse was very clean, beautiful and great space! The host was so responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend staying here! Hope to have another trip to Penn State in the near future and would def look into re-booking!
