“Came for our grandson's baseball tournament down the road, and didn't want to stay at the large hotel/water park down the road. This re-done motel exceeded our expectations! Nice size rooms, all expected amenities, beds, pillows and linens like heaven! Only thing I can think to recommend is to include at least one luggage rack. There are no dressers or closets in the room, so opening and closing suitcases on the bed every time something was needed got a little tedious.”

“We only stayed one night for a basketball tournament. I have no complaints everyone was extremely friendly, breakfast was good, the hotel staff was very helpful on questions. I would definitely stay again. ”

“Stayed here during the Biggest Week in American Birding. Room was nice & clean, & the beds were comfortable. Near all the birding areas in northwest Ohio. Only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was because when someone is showering in another room above mine, the pipes in my bathroom make a knocking sound, which woke me up. Also, they no longer offer a birder's rate. Like everything else in the U.S., the prices here have gone up, but it's the same thing at all the other hotels as well.”

“It’s close and convenient to Cedar Point, Kalahari and other destinations. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. There were a few areas of the hotel that needed a detailed cleaning but nothing to prevent me from staying somewhere else on our next trip.”

“Stayed there in order to attend events associated with Birding Week. Great location, walkable to good restaraunts, and nice walking area, very safe. Staff was good. Rooms were good, although in need of a refresh. Biggest complaint was windows, I like windows that you can open to let fresh air into room. Hotel sits next to river and lake and was deprived of fresh air.”

“It is very conveniently located right off I75 and easy to find. It is a bit dated, but the rooms are laid out well and in good condition. There is not much around besides a Subway for food, but there is at the next exit”
