It’s the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and desert charm, ideal for a couple’s escape or a quiet trip with friends.The main cabin is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, with a super comfortable queen bed and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom was clean and stocked with fresh towels, and the fully-equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals and enjoy slow mornings at our own pace. Everything from the stove to the microwave worked perfectly, and the space felt warm and inviting.One of the most unique features is the second queen bed located in a separate outdoor bedroom on the deck, such a cool option for those wanting a little extra space or a more immersive desert experience. It’s great to have the flexibility, especially for groups of three or four.The outdoor patio was our favorite spot in the evenings. Grilling dinner on the BBQ while the sun set behind the desert hills was such a peaceful way to end the day. Whether you're inside or out, you can really feel the care that went into making this place a serene retreat.We also appreciated the heating and air conditioning, it kept the space comfortable no matter the time of day.Overall, this cabin is a hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Yucca Valley. "Great getaway place! Quiet and peaceful! Exactly what I was looking for! Only thought worth mentioning is the dirt road in has some sandy spots and ruts. Still doable with a 2 wheel drive, but recommend a 4 wheel drive if you have one. "

"Casa Mestiza had everything we needed — a well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We didn't use the cornhole, horsheshoes etc. out back, nor the patio table. But they looked nice. Communication with the host was easy and quick. She was very friendly. If I plan to return to the Yucca Valley one day, I'll book this home again as it's a known quantity and I was happy with it. Thank you."
