“The location is good. We entered Joshua tree state park from south entrance and out gate of west entrance in the afternoon. We checked in the hotel and took a shower. We grab some food and entered the park again for sunset and night sky. ”

“A family oriented and climber friendly place to stay. About 30 minutes to Joshua Tree, so located fairly close. Clean property and nice amenities, pool and board games. ”

But while the kitchen appliances were retro looking and cute, they weren’t functional for my family’s needs. I couldn’t get the oven to work, my pizza from the market didn’t fit in the compact fridge, and the microwave had Roman numerals on the dials for settings but I didn’t know that the settings meant. I had to just set the timer and hope for the best. Communication with the……

“I was traveling with my daughter and this was our first visit to Joshua Tree national park. We both enjoyed our stay. My daughter loved the hammocks outside the rooms. We were able to do some star gazing from the motel grounds as well. The AC was too loud and we turned it off. Before coming we were a bit worried about safety, but we found the area and the motel safe. ”

“Except we were email/ call 3 times with 24 hours before check-in (I couldn’t help but guessed it was due to they had nobody working after 9pm), everything was beating expectation. Room was decent. Service was excellent - TV remote was available (for our device to connect to hdmi) the minute we asked ; room was cleaned, bed were made, towel replaced, bathroom was cleaned, garbage was cleared daily - which was not the case in most of the motel. We were so excited to bbq in motel public area……

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sacred Sands! Very clean, amazing shower, super comfortable bed, and best of all the outdoor tub and stargazing bed. We had limited time to enjoy Joshua Tree National Park so being right down the road from the west entrance couldn't have been more perfect.”

“It was very clean, which I liked. Description said full kitchen but there is no oven. Normally I wouldn't care but I had planned to bake my husband a cake for his birthday. Otherwise, everything was good, but at night, it became very hot in the bedroom, which has a wall AC/heater. every time either kicks off, it knocks, and woke me up all night long all 4 nights ”
