"This gite is in a glorious mountain location with beautiful views and the sound of the bells on the sheep grazing nearby. We had a warm and generous welcome, enjoyed the practical, warm and comfortable accommodation and explored the locality. "Our family really enjoyed staying in Dominique's apartment. The apartment was very clean and the location was an easy walk to town or the train station. Everyone really liked staying here. There was a little confusion on check in but everything worked out great. The only surprise was no bathroom towels. Luckily we had our travel towels. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Saint Jean Pied de Port. Thank you Dominique."

"We stated at the apartment when the Tour de France was going through in July 2023. My husband and I loved the location and the area. We had never been to the area and were from the United States, so it was important for us to have an apartment with linens and towels provided. We enjoyed our stay in the mountains! The only downside was the lack of wifi, but I think that is common for most apartments in the mountain area. There was a tourism office with free wifi in the building nearby."

"The property was spacious and the kitchen very well equipped with new, high spec appliances and loads of pots, pans, gadgets and crockery. Living and dining area was good for up to 8 adults max. Bedrooms in the basement were adequate but poorly ventilated with no windows. Location in village was great with stunning views from parking area which doubled as terrace and eating area shared with 2 other properties so outdoor eating wasn't very practical and so very disappointing for a summer holiday....

"My stay was great. The little room #10 is clean and well appointed. It’s an accessible room, which is great. Although the water from the shower frequently went everywhere because the shower drain didn’t clear quick enough. You just learn to run a slower shower though :) Hosts were great and quickly fixed the batteries in the AC remote. Room was toasty and bed was super comfy. Easy walk to town and to the Pilgrim office for those on the Camino. Only a short walk to the start! "
