Waihee Ridge Hike and Iao valley are super close, Paia / Haleakala / Kula / Kihei / Maalaea / are all less the 35-minute drive. Ramu and his team were great and made us feel super welcome. Do yourself a favor and stay here, avoid the resorts and all of their trappings (expensive food / expensive parking / expensive rooms), and explore every part of the island. Go local...
