"Lovely Bergamo Città alta. This stay was in a spacious room with all we needed for a relaxed time. Not a regular hotel and no face-to-face interact with staff which was just fine and as-desired. Nothing but walkable as we had to park about 400meters away in a central parking garage. The staff recommended where to park and all went smoothly. "

The only issues were that the front desk staff is rude and need to go up the stairs with you luggage with no help to do check in and the towels and bed sheets smells very strong like vinegar 😒"

"The really nice staff made us feel very welcome. If you're a good walker, you can walk to the Cita' Alta from the hotel. The rooms are bright, airy, and clean. Nice decor too. We had a room over the street, but the solid windows kept car traffic noise to a minimum. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel."

"A quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. "

"The lock in the apartment is broken and it is almost impossible to close the door from the inside. Since this is a grand floor, it is completely unsafe. Also, there are no curtains in the room, and the external blinds are broken and passers-by from the street can look in. The faucet in the kitchen is broken and the water switch falls off when used. There is mold in the bathroom, the window between the kitchen and the bathroom is very dirty, the walls above the bathroom are also dirty and with cobwebs. The apartment is damp and there are no extra blankets to keep warm. Also, the remote control for the air conditioner was missing. This apartment is not worth the money they ask for it. Of course, you can spend the night, but you can’t call it a comfortable stay."
"We booked a room for one night and was a night that I will try to forget. The room heating wasn't working, the AC did not worked on heating . We had to sleep 3 people in one bad to get warmed since the temperature in the room was around 16 C. Maybe in the summer when is warm outside the location will be good but in January stay away from it."
"The room was in the basement so there was no fire escape. We arrived back at our room at 00.30am and the pass code didn`t work for our room. There was no key in the security box. We spent about 90 minutes on the phone trying to get them to send someone out and they only agreed to do it when we eventially threatened to contact the police."
