"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"A simple average 2star hotel. Very simple rooms, small bed. Breakfast simple too. Overall, we booked the hotel because of the big pool but weather was to cold and rainy to have usage of the pool. However, location of Duoro wine area is very nice, I recommend Pinhao for short trip and boat tour. "

All the staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The "lake" pool is incredible, and is perfectly complimented by their in-house wines which they will bring to you at the pool! Could not recommend the hotel enough! "

"We had the exclusief appartement, that was to the back, and that was really nice and silent. The complex is a bit more up the mountain and not that "next" to the water/center what was perfect for us! (more silence). And even then everything in near you, supermarket at walking distance, or just a 5-10 min drive to the river. Plenty of restaurants, hikes, activities to do. Rooms where nice and spacious, kitchen was equipped with all you needed. And it was clean. There is a parking garage below...
