The price and location of this property are fantastic, but unfortunately, the condition of the water made our stay unacceptable. The water had an extremely strong sewage-like odor that ended up making the entire room smell. In this heat, leaving the doors open to air out the room was not a realistic solution, and we were also very uncomfortable not knowing what was causing the water to smell that way or whether it was safe. We had planned to stay for two nights but ended up leaving after only one. The only reason we stayed that first night was because it was already too late to find another hotel. I strongly encourage management to do their due diligence and make sure the water system, boiler/water heater, plumbing, and overall water quality are properly inspected and maintained before renting these rooms. Clean, odor-free water is a basic expectation and should be non-negotiable for any hotel. It’s unfortunate because the location and price really are excellent, but an issue like this completely overshadows those positives.
