"Myself and my daughter stayed here for our 3 night break. We were visiting family so used this hotel as a base. We were impressed by the lovely, clean modern room. My daughter absolutely loved it. We found the room very clean and tidy on arrival. We had two single beds, which were nice and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We also really enjoyed the cocktails/mocktails down in the bar. The hotel is located close to the metro station, and local shops and a McDonalds. "

"Spacious, clean room, Friendly staff, great atmosphere. It was my last catch to get a hotel room for the overnight stay near Schiphol Airport and worked it out, beyond my expectation. Since my booking did not include breakfast, the front dest gentleman gave me a breakfast box. I felt lucky to be able to stay at Steibenberger, with much appreciation of what I experienced there. "We found this hotel to be well-situated, very clean and with an exceptional staff. We stayed for four nights in mid-November. The location is within walking distance of several of the major museums, including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. It is directly across the street from a canal tour ride and the Hard Rock Cafe. It is about a block from a tram and bus stop, including one that goes directly to Schipol. Our room was fairly small. I do not know if they had accessible rooms, but it should be noted that the shower is in a tub with high-sided walls, which could be a problem for some. There was a fridge, a coffee maker and an electric kettle--however the outlet was not near the counter and it made more sense to use the tea kettle in the bathroom. Our street-side room was on the first floor. Even so, it was not noisy at night. It wasn't until the last day that I noticed there was a problem with the window, causing a cold draft. When I reported it, they were very responsive. (In the meantime, I had also requested an extra comforter and recieved that as well.) There's a lovely drink shop around the corner from the hotel. I recommend avoiding most of other nearby restaurants and walking about a block or two north of the Hard Rock to the Leidseplein area, where there are streets filled with a wonderful variety of restaurants. "

"What a great hotel! The room was small but very efficient & well laid out! Perfect for our overnight 18 hour layover in Amsterdam! The close location to the airport meant we had more time to stay out a bit later to explore the city and not have to get up super early to drive to the airport. Just a quick 5 min walk and we were at the airport! Love all the cool iPad room settings. The bartender was incredibly friendly & the drinks we had were delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Amsterdam. Highly recommend this hotel & hope to return one day!"
