“Room size was good. Convenient location to parking. The room was clean and comfortable but the chairs in the room were stained. Breakfast selection had something for everyone and was well stocked. Pool was closed and hot tub didn’t look very clean. ”

“It is older and the room was kind of small, and the bathroom door didn’t lock (which was fine for us). But the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable and we got a great price. We just needed a place to stop for the night and it was just what we needed.”

“Front desk clerk refused to check us in at 3:49pm, even though we were only 11 minutes early. We argued and she finally agreed. However, she had a, "printer issue," and didn't actually hand us the keys until right at check in time. I suspect the general manager has told staff they are not to check any guest in early. We often spend time in La Grande, but we will not be staying at this Best Western again. A 4:00pm check in time is ridiculous to begin with. Whatever happened to 3:00pm check……

“I loved that the room we needed with 3 beds was on a split level downstairs so I didn’t have to worry about my kids waking up people below us. Everything was very clean and we loved that the pool had life jackets to use since we forgot ours. ”

“The hotel is wonderful, they are welcoming and kind at check in and check out. The ONLY thing that I wish was different is that they did not have an elevator and I was on the second floor. It's just an older hotel so that happens.”
