I was very happy with this hotel, but the pool was closed with major renovations in progress,so I could not rate the amenities excellent. I look forward to returning to this property when the new pool is completed. Excellent location

An excellent place to stay. Outstanding location, outstanding staff & amenities. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the room was lovely. My family & I will definitely be returning. So much to do each day, and a perfect place to rest at night after a full day of activities. Slept like a log everynight. A perfect place for a family holiday.

Great view of the Ocean and the Park ! We received a lovely surprise gift in our room of chocolates and a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary which was very thoughtful and personal . Room was clean and spacious too . Food excellent selection at Straits Cafe as well as Breakfast buffet with healthy options as well as vegetarian too . Easy check-in and check out express with basement parking $25 for the day on QR code to enter information .

Pool, tennis courts and front entrance was out of action being renovated but the rooms have been renovated and they were very nice. Straits restaurant is nice but the Lobby Bar lacked atmosphere and was a bit sparse of furniture. But we would stay again.

Our favourite place to stay in Scarborough! Although the pool section was getting a facelift again, was nice to have another option. The buffet breakfast was super and had different items one day to the next which was nice. They even provided a boxed breakfast since we had to leave really early in the morning to catch a flight! The only downfalls from our stay were: no spare toilet paper roll in room upon arrival, our phone wouldnt work to call the reception area and the fan in the bathroom didnt work so when taking a shower the mirrors would really fog up even in the entrance to the room. We also dont take super hot showers. Otherwise was a great stay as always and the front reception was helpful with everything!

I was disappointed that they didn’t mention the pool was under renovation when I booked. My room overlooked an empty cement pool. My room was not cleaned the first day when I asked. The second day it was cleaned the cleaner must have thrown out two pairs of earrings wrapped on the bedside table I have purchased and were still wrapped in bubble wrap. Very disappointing. The gym does not open until 7am which isn’t great for early risers from states with a 2hr time difference. Otherwise. Location. Brilliant. Rooms otherwise in good condition and spacious.

The hotel’s pool and front area were under renovation. The room I stayed in was nice modern interior and bathroom, and a balcony with partly ocean views. The room was spacious with a table and chairs and another pair of sofa chairs and a side table. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Such an amazing experience eventho we stayed 1 night it was well worth it. We booked the Executive King Suite, wow what a view, massive room with great space and a very well organised bathroom. Great selection of food options at the buffet breakfast. Would highly recommend you to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Beautifully appointed and spacious room, stunning views of the beach, beautiful new furniture which included two chairs (many hotels only give a single chair), a table and a sofa, nice bed, large TV with access to all free-to-air channels which we watched sipping top quality tea. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and even allowed us a slightly later checkout. They told us in advance that their pool was under renovations but we could have free access to the Scarborough Pool next door which is a lovely pool complex.
