The beds were comfy. The older style layout of the hotel meant many rooms were in little corridors of their own that the lifts can’t reach. Slopes running uphill and downhill. I wouldn’t advise if you have mobility / disability needs, but it meant the little corridor was very quiet, no noise all night, it was a restful sleep. Breakfast - it is ok. Small selection of cereal and fruits, fresh porridge, and a basic buffet fry up. My daughter did not like the sausages or bacon (low quality meat), they had cut the potato scones into small sections, and the toast was very cheap bread that had lay under the heating lamp a good while making it v.hard. Coffee wasn’t great but they did do a hot chocolate for my daughter that she loved, and I was able to add it to the coffee and make a passible mocha. Orange juice was in children’s cartons with paper straws. I did wonder why the breakfast dining area was so quiet, but I now understand.
