"Very basic hotel for traveling on a budget. Nothing fancy. The courtyard is an empty and dirty with an equally empty mildewed pool. If you’re there for business, it’s a basic room. Building is kinda dilapidated and needs some updating and better maintenance overall but hey it’s a decent neighborhood and cheap. "

"Staying at Hotel Solana was a tranquil and restful experience. The lagoon view and access here was fantastic. The staff was very cordial and thoughtful. The onsite chef makes amazing meals to include a very satisfying breakfast every morning. The pavillion dock is so picturesque. Located near the southern end of the lagoon (a few miles from town), it was also very quiet. Kayaks and life jackets provided, jet ski for hourly rent. The bedding was comfy! "
