First, I wanted to notify you that I contracted 2 strands of E. Coli, one containing toxins from eating/drinking at your resort. Your resort was the only place I ate or drank anything on the island. Was hospitalized upon return home.
Overall the stay was good. We might consider staying here again for snorkeling/diving, given its location on the island.
Shuttle service from airport to resort was fine, air conditioned, took probably half hour just to negotiate traffic to leave the airport parking lot.
Check in was just ok, not rude but not super friendly either. Resort property is very clean, grounds crew does a good job. Couch chairs and barstools are very old and worn and uncomfortable. Beds were fine. No dressers/drawers so we pretty much had to live out of our suitcases. On day 1 had to request maintenance to fix water, as our room lost water completely, took about an hour before water service restored. Also had to request maintenance to fix air conditioning, as only master bedroom was getting cool. Balcony door inoperable so we couldn't use it.
Disappointing to have to pay $15/day per person to use snorkel equipment when we paid for a premium all-inclusive package at a dive resort. You have to tip constantly to receive decent service-have never experienced that at other all inclusives.
We were tolerated but never made to feel welcome. During Check out they didn't even thank us or ask us if we enjoyed our stay. wouldn't book tour through hotel-drive didn't speak
