"I want to warn guest about taxis. The front desk thought they were doing me a favor telling me I could get a taxi on the street which I didn't think anything of. I had to negotiate the price. I also didn't think anything about that. However, after I got into the taxi, he drove me down the street and then tried to drop me off. I ultimately got to my location. But that was not a pleasant experience. The hotel should know better. The taxi driver is really ripped to us off with their pricing. The hotel should do something to take care of that for guests needing to go places."

"Booked because of free shuttle for airport/ferry. No driver at ferry when I got there, called the property, a driver was there about 10 minutes later. Could have been hung up with traffic but there was no communication as to why he wasn’t there. "PROS: We had a beautiful view overlooking the pool. The property itself is stunning, and the facilities are equally impressive. The location is excellent, and the landscape is serene and almost divine—it truly feels like a hidden paradise. CONS: Unfortunately, the food and service did not match the level of the property. The meals were subpar—calling them that is generous, especially considering the prices. The wait time for food was also difficult to understand given the relatively low number of guests in the restaurant. For example, breakfast for two—just eggs, coffee, and juice—came to $65 before tip, which feels excessive by any standard. We live year-round in a resort island community in the United States, so we have a fair basis for comparison. It’s also worth noting that in Roatán, tips and taxes are generally not included in menu prices, so be prepared for that. At dinner, we paid $159 for one main course, one salad, and two drinks.
