"My daughter and I spent a weekend at the Flackley Ash hotel and had a wonderful time. The food was very good and there is a decent pool and gym there. The best thing though are the staff they are friendly efficient and just make the experience so much better. "

"A pleasant stay however was spoilt by lack of cleaning. Bathroom was left with dirt on the shower floor and tiles in sink area were not cleaned. Also black mould in shower area. Bathroom blinds had not been cleaned and were covered in dead flies. Bed was comfortable however floors were very dusty around the edges around the furniture. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Ignore the freebies that are mentioned on the website as these don't exist, as it's an old website apparently...

The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel. "

Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. "Location was prefect walking distance to everything and lovely being next to the river with view of boats. Is on main road but the car park gives it distance so no noise. Staff were lovely especially the young bubbly lady who serviced us at breakfast who was very attentive. Room was a brilliant size double bed with 2 single bed we were very comfortable. "The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...
