"Would recommend Mission Point over the Grand Hotel without a doubt. Right on the lake, pleasant walk to downtown, fairly private but next to biking path. Just a wonderful experience all around. Check out the Paul McCartney show on-site if you have time. And do yourself a favor by sitting in the chairs that overlook the lake for a nice, relaxing pause from life!"

"The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the beach and lake. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ambience of the fake fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and staff was helpful and it was great to have real dishes. Loved having the bar right there and being able to sit outside by the fire pit. Great bartender, too. Pool and hot tub were great -- both were large and appropriate temperatures. One difficulty was having to go up & down 5-6 steps even after getting on our floor."

"On our Morning breakfast we were seated at a wonderful table right in the front window with a beautiful view of the harbor. It made our day!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton Inn again. We have stayed at this hotel on many previous trips to Mackinaw City. The morning breakfast had a great variety of items to select from. It was well stocked. It’s a shame other hotel guests had to bring with them, many take-out containers that they filled with food while they ate in the breakfast room. I guess they were going to have a 2nd breakfast somewhere. We enjoyed our special extra large room also."

"Caroline and family are attentive to every detail and anticipate your needs. The hotel, entirety is tidy, clean, and comfortable. They make extra efforts to make you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious as was the afternoon snack. The front porch and front room are so cozy. You can read a book or get to know other guests- they offer a perfect balance."

"I love the up north Lodge feel of the rooms and property. But everything was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple, but have all the amenities needed for your stay. "
