“Honestly, I loved almost everything about the stay, great setup and comfortable space. However, the master bedroom had a very strong animal pee smell, which made it unusable. Also, the bathroom didn’t have any hand soap, which was inconvenient. Everything else was nice, but these issues definitely affected the experience.”

“The cabin is very rustic, as advertised, vey quiet and the lake outside the back door was so peaceful! Richie was there to greet us and answer any questions we had about the cabin. Also the information we received ahead of time helped us have everything that we needed with us. The location was so close to everywhere that we wanted to visit, so we loved that! Overall a great experience!”

“We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. That being said, the cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. The bed was very comfortable too. “Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.”

“This was such a quaint little cabin. We were right on the lake. Once we left the paved road, I was getting a little concerned. It is really hidden back in the woods, but when we pulled up, the owner was right there to welcome us. He was so nice. It was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!”
