First impressions of Orchards were fantastic. The design and the attention to detail are really impressive. Vincent the host is very friendly and helpful with great suggestions of places to eat/drink nearby.
It’s a very new renovation and believe on the cusp of being fantastic. However, a few issues cropped up and we needed to ask for certain basic things. There’s a coffee machine in the room but waking up on the first morning, realising there were no cups, spoons etc was a bit frustrating. Too early to ask anyone. There are no drinking glasses so had to request those. Plus, with it being a hotel and staying there for 3 nights, our beds weren’t made once. Also had to ask for loo roll. Service wise, it felt more like an AirBNb rather than a hotel.
Also, just to make others aware, with it being an old building, although beautiful, it is very noisy. Take ear plugs!

"It was fine, but just fine. Nothing much to report as it didn’t exceed expectations. The only thing is that the breakfast was terrible, I’m used to a simple Greek breakfast but this was below simple, more minimalist. Roof top bar is great though."
