The hallways are protected by key accessible doors to only the residents staying at the hotel, there’s fast food, a diner & a strip of different stores within walking distance of the hotel, when i walked into my room, it was spotless, no cobwebs, no stains, the bed was clean, no dirt or bed bugs. Only to call the hotel and find out I have to walk to the side of the lobby and greet staff at a side window for after hour check in. Wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Also after spending the night here the first night during our 2 night stay over the weekend to visit family we had came back to the hotel around 2pm Saturday to find our room keys didn’t open any of the doors.. okay strange. We walked 1500 feet to the lobby and got our keys re registered. But then we got into our rooms and saw our personal belongings had been touched/organized in the places we had put them and the towels got swapped. My privacy felt zero to non at that point so we decided to just leave after the first night during a 2 night stay. Also upon check in I felt very judged? I’m not sure but the staff member kept asking us if we smoked? I get it for room policy and what not but asking someone 6 times and then asking them to promise they don’t smoke on top of that is next level unprovoked behavior.
