The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and the interiors now match the charm of the grounds. However, the service falls short of expectations. While the staff were really friendly, service was slow, and several dishes were mixed up at both dinner and breakfast. Our room was drafty, the shower temperature was inconsistent, and noise from the room above persisted late into the night. We slept terribly because of the stomping and TV from the adjacent room. We also noticed a small amount of water dripping from the ceiling near the fireplace in the morning. Overall, a pleasant stay but not a luxury experience. With improved service and maintenance, it could rival properties like Babington House or Soho Farmhouse.

Smooth and efficient service, fast check in and friendly receptionist. Room was lovely, a good size, well maintained, and clean. Ate in dinner & breakfast at the hotel, staff attentive and helpful- food to a good standard
