“Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just……

“Stayed two nights on business - first night had friendly and helpful staff - second night was completely different. Two more colleagues joined me and in checking in were advised that breakfast was not booked which it had been. Reception staff incredibly surly, rude and unhelpful. Heavily stained carpet in room 507. Comfortable bed. Breakfast ok but not great.”
