The Neighborhood Loft 268 is located in the Romantic Zone, AKA Old Town. This is the most happening part of Vallarta and is overflowing with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Basilio Badillo Street is known for having some of the best restaurants in PV and is only one block south of Loft 268. The beach is a short walk, just 2 blocks west of Loft 268\. You'll find several restaurants and bars located on the beach as well as a handful of activities to engage in including: parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat, flyboarding, etc. Security This is a gated building with surveillance cameras and security officers onsite 24/7\. If guests come to visit you, you'll be able to see their face on a video screen in the condo and can chat with them before deciding to let them in. This building is very safe in a safe neighborhood. Interaction with Guests A member of our team will meet you at the building for check-in. Afterwards, you can reach us by call or text 24 hours a day OR drop by our local office, located just one block away. Guest Access Guests have full access to the condo and the aforementioned common areas in the following schedules: \- An open rooftop from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. \- A gym open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, only 2 people at a time can use it and a reservation in advance is required. \- The pool is closed on Wednesdays until 1:00 p.m. for maintenance reasons. \- A roofop bar open 7-days a week from 12:30pm to 7:30pm (Opening at 1pm on Wednesdays for rooftop and pool cleaning). \- Only two guests' visitors per unit are allowed in the condo and the common areas from 9 AM to 11 PM. They will need to register upon arrival on a binnacle and show a piece of ID. \- Guests will be required to wear access wristbands while using the common areas during their stay, which will be provided at check-in. Getting Around You do not need a car to experience downtown Puerto Vallarta. This building is walking distance to everything you need with no hills to walk down or climb up. If you'd like to get out of town Uber, taxis and buses are readily available. Other Things to Note Guests will be required to wear access wristbands while using the common areas, which will be provided at check-in during their stay. Weekly maid service is included for rentals of 7 nights or more. The prior guests did not checked out on time. We end up checking in an 1 1/2 past the normal check in time. The unit was lovely, a little dark because the windows are inside the building. It was well equipped. The shower was a challenge because it was either too hot or too cold, not easy to regulate the temperature, must be because the unit has a boiler. The pool has plenty of seating is very clean and well-maintained. The studio condo is well equipped in the kitchen, has a washer/dryer, and a very clean bathroom. There are no outside, facing windows in the condo so what times can feel a little dark and disconnected. Cannot beat the location to local restaurants and the beach. Was a perfect size for a single person stay, I would not recommend more than two people at this location. Unbeatable location, walkable to shops, restaurants, bars, beach. Nightlife nearby can be noisy, but this apartment was very quiet for sleeping. The roof deck was very relaxing with pool and hot tub, and great views. The only thing missing was air flow throughout the complex. From the step inside the entrance, elevator to our room, the air was stagnant. Once in the room air quality and temperature was perfect. Being a studio corner unit, there are no windows to create additional airflow. Everyone was super helpful and polite, especially Oscar, the desk guy during Night Shift. Definitely will be staying there again!. The only downside about that is that those condos do not have any balconies to look outside so the rooms do not receive much natural light:(. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and just so comfortable and lovely. We had regular contact with those who were managing our stay and they were very responsive. I loved the area, the building and the suite. Aurora checked with me the day before and was able to give me detail information on how to check in. I had a late check in since I landed at 730pm, but Aurora was still available to make sure I was able to get in and for any questions I had. The room was clean and the AC was great. The bed was comfortable and everything was supplied for the room. The space was clean and the bed was comfortable. The unit also had all of the amenities anyone could need, and the rooftop pool/deck was amazing. The only reason for the 4-star rating was due to a problem with the unit's lock, which had me locked out one afternoon while my friends were at the beach. The property management company that manages the VRBO for this location did not have a spare key on site and ended up having to have a locksmith break into the unit. Needless to say, I was not happy. Roof top pool is amazing. Property manager was very quick with responses.
