"The location of this property was absolutely perfect. We were able to snorkel right off the front of the property every day and spotted sea turtles along with a wide variety of fish.The bed was very comfortable, and we slept surprisingly well even without air conditioning—falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly relaxing. Just a heads-up: the roosters do get an early start to the day!"

"Check in and check out was easy with clear instructions. The welcome packet provided nice details for hiuse rules and place to see. Kitchen had everything need to cook and clean. Restrooms and bedrooms were nice and clean. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Nice view of the ocean and mountains. We really enjoyed our stay."
"We couldn’t have picked a better rental! 10/10 would recommend. We have three kids, and we all slept comfortably. The views are spectacular. We loved that we could walk down to the beach. We saw a few turtles on our morning walks. The building is very quiet. The neighbor is very sweet, too.The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, utensils, etc. We appreciated having beach chairs and a cooler that we took to the north shore one day. There is building construction going on but it did not cause any disturbance to our stay.Chris is a wonderful host! We hope to come back in the future!"

"This was an excellent location. We enjoyed being able to wake up and get in the water. It was a calm, quiet beach and we did see turtles! The host provided access to lots of beach toys, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. What a peaceful paradise and wonderful vacation!"

"House was clean. Process was good. Location on the east side of the island provides a better feel for true Hawaii and avoids the more touristy, commercial areas. I’d stay here again. "
"We had the absolute best stay here! It’s a quiet location with an amazing beach steps away and driving distance from other breathtaking beaches. We saw turtles right next to us on the beach. The sunrise view from the beds here are amazing. It does get a little warm but with the fans and windows open it was fine, even in mid July. Check out Kaya’s market (5 min walk) for great local breakfast or lunch! 2 min drive to coffee cove which was also amazing. There is everything you need for a beach day supplied here (towels, snorkels, chairs, everything!). Couldn’t have asked for anything better here! Beds are comfy too. "

"The view and location were perfect. We loved how the beach was out front where we saw sea turtles and swam in the ocean. We enjoyed being away from the crowded beaches. There was no issue with the construction imposing on our stay. The condo is a short drive to a grocery store and food options. However, the condo had a few issues. It needed some basic maintenance. One of the stools was broken, the ceiling fan could not be adjusted and the slider didn’t lock. I had to buy a usable frying pan along with a few other kitchen items which I left there. The kitchen sink needed to be cleaned and I suggest washing the dishes before using them. The management offered to have the cleaning crew and maintenance address these issues but I didn’t want someone in our condo while we were vacationing. Hopefully management will have these things resolved before your visit. You can’t go wrong with the location. "

"We loved the property and the easy access to the beach. Turtles visit frequently, which makes for a fun experience. The only downfall to this property is the hour drive to downtown and most tourist attractions. If you plan to spend most of your time on the North Shore, this is the perfect location. "

"It was the perfect size for me and my spouse. There was construction happening during business hrs, but they weren’t too loud. We loved how close the cottage was to the beach. The lanai was the best part: eating our meals with the ocean breeze. If we had to complain about something, we would say that it does get warm in the cottage. We understand many places in hawaii don’t have ac units, so we knew what we had coming. We tried leaving all the windows open to let the air flow through, so it helped a little. Terrie is great with communication. Answered all our questions when needed. "

"The location is fantastic. The condo has a great view of the ocean. And fairly roomy. Perfect for the two of us. You can hear the ocean lapping and sometimes roaring providing the relaxing ambience that we need after a few days in Waikiki. It is next to highway 83 and thus the front bedroom can be noisy. Since there are only two of us , it's not a problem. The condo has everything that we need from cooking to doing our laundry.For dining options , kahuku about 10miles north has lots of options.Foodland supermarket is also not too far.We just love sitting in the lanai enjoying sunrise and watching the waves and sometimes turtles on the beach. The water is also good for swimming.Highly recommend."
"Place was nice. Very nicely decorated and comfortable stay with open space which was very nice. Fans and ac in all rooms. We were aware of chickens but neighbors were super loud with screaming infant. Bathroom window was old style with flap glass so not sound proof. Understandable. Couch cusion was not zipped/broken, no coffee amenities so had to purchase. It is hard to know what is available or not and wished it stated in listing. Texted about whether shampoo etc was available but seen partial. For the location, suggestions for cafes and Restaurants would have been nice. Otherwise great stay."

"We loved this darling house and being right on the beach. We could snorkel a 100 yards from shore since it’s a calm area with a reef. The accommodations were great. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are tiny but when you’re only in there to sleep, it didn’t bother us. Some of the outdoor toys were not in great shape and need to be replaced, like the paddle board and lawn chairs. But we were so thrilled to have a great backyard right on the ocean that we did not care. Just an FYI, the front of the house is right on a busy road if traffic noise is an issue for you. But again, being beach side cures many ills. "
