"I love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding."

"We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house, great location. Enjoyed watching the ships go by. We fished, boogie boarded, and swam. There were 3 generations of us. The house was perfect with 3 bathrooms. We really enjoyed the deck watching the night sky as well. Wonderful memories of a great holiday! "

Everyone loved tge deck with its amazing ocean views and comfortable seating. All the rooms had comfortable beds, and the kitchen was fully equipped- even had a blender! The outdoor shower was particularly helpful to rinse the children off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
